For Open \u201cA\u201d prize fund is 19,700.00 EUR;<\/strong>
\nfor Open \u201cB\u201d 8,000.00 EUR;<\/strong>
\nfor Mediterranean Championship prize fund is 9,000.00 EUR;<\/strong>
\nfor the Mediterranean Rapid Championship U20 prize fund is 1,500.00 EUR<\/strong>
\nfor Open Blitz Tournament prize fund will be 800.00 EUR.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The best players from the country\u2019s members of the Mediterranean Chess Association will become the Mediterranean Champions for 2026 and receive cup and gold medal<\/strong>, separately in the Open and Women\u2019s categories<\/strong>. The second and third placed players in both categories will receive silver and bronze medals respectively<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

THE PRIZES FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN CHAMPIONSHIP ARE CUMULATIVE WITH THE REGULAR PRIZES IN THE OPEN A TOURNAMENT.<\/strong>
\nWomen compete for both the Open and the Women\u2019s prizes, but they may receive only one prize from the Mediterranean prize fund, the higher one.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Prizes to the Open \u201cA\u201d tournament in total amount of 19,700.00 EUR<\/strong> will be divided to the regular prizes prize fund: 15,000.00 EUR<\/strong> and special prizes prize fund: 4,700.00 EUR.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

For the Mediterranean Rapid Championship<\/strong> \u2013 U20 & U14 categories<\/strong>, the best players will become the Mediterranean Rapid Champions for 2026 (separately U20 & U14 in Open and Girls section) and receive cups and gold medals<\/strong>. The second and third placed players in both categories (separately U20 & U14 in Open and Girls section) <\/strong>will receive silver and bronze medals respectively<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

  • In the U20 category<\/strong>, there is a prize fund<\/strong> in total amount of 1,500.00 EUR<\/li>\n
